About the role#
As a Co-Op student in the Powerpack Applications team, you will support the product development and testing of advanced automotive systems. You will work alongside engineering professionals on projects that build your technical, analytical, and professional skills. This role is paid and requires full-time enrollment at a four-year university.
What you'll do#
- Assist Product Engineers with daily tasks including design reviews and troubleshooting.
- Conduct tests on Electric Power Steering (EPS) circuit card assemblies and motors.
- Analyze controller test data and summarize findings.
- Present recommendations and results to the Powerpack Engineering team.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a four-year university pursuing a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Hands-on experience with electrical or mechanical systems through labs, projects, or internships.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and CAD software.
- Ability to work 20 to 32 hours per week during the Fall and Winter semesters and up to 40 hours per week in the summer.
