About the role#
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Intern for a per diem role at the NYP/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. You will work alongside experienced pharmacists in an academic medical center environment. This position requires rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do#
- Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
- Dispense items required for the safe and appropriate use of drugs by patients.
- Follow all established hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform duties under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- An active New York State Pharmacy Intern Permit.
- Six months of previous pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Preference is given to PharmD students graduating in 2029.
