    About the role#

    Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is hosting a hiring event for Radiologic Technology students graduating in November or December 2026. This role is a full-time position focused on pediatric imaging. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide diagnostic and therapeutic care while using specialized equipment. This is an opportunity to start your career in a pediatric health system that emphasizes teamwork and patient support.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures while ensuring safe patient outcomes.
    • Operate technical imaging equipment and manage image processing, transmission, and archiving.
    • Update electronic medical records, including order entry, exam scheduling, and verification.
    • Assist with the administration of contrast media or radioisotopes as needed.
    • Evaluate images for technical quality before they are sent for interpretation.
    • Provide patient history to physicians and obtain informed consent.
    • Ensure billing accuracy for all procedures.
    • Collaborate with medical staff, including nurses and anesthesia personnel, to support patient safety.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ACR accreditation processes.
    • Apply age-specific guidelines when working with patients from neonates through adolescents.
    • Use critical thinking to make decisions that align with departmental goals and policies.
    • Complete all mandatory educational requirements and annual competencies.

    What you'll need#

    • Successful completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved educational program.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists credential in Radiography (R).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
    • Good communication skills along with interpersonal and patient management abilities.
    • An associate's degree is preferred.
    • Previous experience in a pediatric setting is preferred.
