About the role#
We are hiring a Radiology Extern to join our team at Havasu Regional Medical Center. This is a part-time, per diem position based on-site in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. You will work under the guidance of our medical staff to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Perform imaging procedures following the established scope and standards of practice.
- Review patient histories and physician orders.
- Explain procedures, equipment, and exams to patients to help them feel prepared.
- Assist the team with imaging exams across multiple modalities.
- Prepare necessary equipment and supplies for diagnostic exams.
- Transport patients within the facility.
- Handle various clerical duties to support the department.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current 2nd year student in a radiology program.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
- You must hold a Radiation Operator license from the state Board of Radiology.
- You must be eligible for ARRT certification within 12 months of graduation.

- Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ.
- Schedule: Per Diem/PRN.
