About the role#
This student placement provides a clinical experience for Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNA) to supplement academic program requirements. Placements are non-paid and subject to department and preceptor availability, as well as existing affiliation agreements with your academic institution.
What you'll do#
- Participate in clinical anesthesia practice.
- Assist in patient care during surgical procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments.
- Support anesthesia delivery across various clinical settings.
- Adhere to established safety and quality assurance standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a nursing anesthesia program.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Foundational knowledge of anesthesia practices.
