About the role#
This clinical pastoral education placement is an unpaid experience designed to supplement the requirements of an academic program. Selection is based on department and preceptor availability, as well as existing affiliation agreements with your academic institution.
What you'll do#
- Complete the required clinical experience hours.
- Participate in all educational components of the program.
- Engage with staff members within a clinical setting.
- Submit an application for departmental review.
- Adhere to established guidelines regarding preceptor and department availability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an academic program, specifically in Nursing, Public Health, or Human Resources.
- A foundational understanding of clinical pastoral education principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and patients.
- Ability to meet specific department and preceptor requirements.
- Availability to fulfill the clinical experience schedule.
