About the role#
The Year-Round Intern provides administrative, technical, and operational support to the Facility Operations Center. You will work with the Business Systems Analyst and staff to assist with daily facilities operations. This is an on-site role based in Pensacola, Florida, designed to provide hands-on experience in asset management and maintenance programs while you pursue your studies.
What you'll do#
- Perform OpenBlue asset management tasks, such as field verification of equipment, asset tag validation, and collecting serial numbers.
- Support asset onboarding, data accuracy efforts, and record updates.
- Assist with preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, inventory verification, and work order support.
- Maintain records for assets, preventive maintenance, and safety equipment.
- Help with shuttle operations, including vehicle inspections, refueling, and cleaning.
- Complete administrative tasks, data entry, and reporting.
- Assist with special projects and other operational assignments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Business Administration, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn and use computerized asset management and maintenance systems.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
