About the role#
This year-round internship offers practical experience within the Enterprise Technology Services Change Management function. You will support operational, analytical, and documentation activities while learning established standards and procedures. This role is designed for students who want to contribute to team deliverables and develop professional skills in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the Change Management function, including small projects or defined portions of larger initiatives.
- Assist with activities that support business strategy, service transition, process consistency, and technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members, technology partners, and business stakeholders to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform research and analysis to support process improvements, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Contribute to documentation, job aids, presentations, and knowledge materials.
- Attend meetings, maintain notes, and track follow-up items.
- Process, update, and validate data in systems like ServiceNow and generate basic reports or dashboards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program.
- Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Interest in areas such as technology operations, IT service management, risk management, or governance.
- Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, or Power BI is helpful.
Location & details#
- Locations: Pensacola, Florida, or Vienna, Virginia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (minimum 20 hours per week for part-time).
- Enrollment: You must remain enrolled in college-level courses throughout the internship.
