About the role#
This year-round internship provides college students with hands-on experience in the financial sector. You will join the Desktop Support team to assist with technical challenges, hardware maintenance, and back-end navigation. This position is flexible and accommodates your school schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist team members in navigating technical challenges.
- Support IT equipment including workstations, mobile devices, printers, telephony systems, and audio/visual hardware.
- Apply your academic knowledge to daily tasks and special projects.
- Provide customer service to internal team members.
- Work within established standards, policies, and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
- Experience with PCs and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to present findings and conclusions clearly.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Winchester, Virginia.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (minimum 20-25 hours per week).
- Status: Paid, full-time or part-time internship.
