About the role#
The Engineering Intern works alongside our engineering and operations teams. You will help improve efficiency and quality while maintaining our 3D CAD parts library. This is a paid, on-site position based in Orlando, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain top assemblies using SolidWorks and NX.
- Perform reverse engineering and parts validation.
- Create and manage the 3D CAD parts library.
- Gather and organize detailed vendor data.
- Analyze products by cross-referencing physical parts with 3D models to ensure dimensional accuracy.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Civil, or Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Must be local to the Orlando area.
- Available to work 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills for working with team members across the organization.
- Knowledge of CAD applications like NX, AutoCAD, or Rhino is a plus, as is prior manufacturing experience.
