About the role#
The Future Talent Program at MSD offers a 12-week internship for students interested in finance. You will work on project assignments within our Global Support Functions. This program is designed to provide professional development and exposure to finance roles. You will be based at our global headquarters in Rahway, New Jersey, during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform forecasting and financial reporting or analysis.
- Assist with operational risk management and process improvement consulting.
- Manage currency and other financial risks.
- Support key finance business processes.
- Participate in lunch-and-learn sessions with senior leaders.
- Engage in formal training programs and mentorship opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Marketing, or a related business discipline.
- Coursework focused on data analytics is preferred.
- Availability to work full-time for the 12-week duration of the internship.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated integrity and leadership potential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a global mindset.
- Ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for personal growth.
- A passion for learning and our mission of saving and improving lives.
