About the role#
This internship supports the Global Safety and Environment (GSE) team across our sites in the Americas. You will gain hands-on experience in environmental health and safety (EHS) training, documentation governance, and incident investigations. The role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and supporting critical projects within the GSE organization.
What you'll do#
- Implement EHS training programs.
- Manage documentation governance processes.
- Identify and implement improvements for incident investigations.
- Propose solutions to address process inefficiencies.
- Support critical projects within the GSE team.
- Receive and execute verbal or written instructions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field.
- Completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
- Ability to work full time for 10 to 12 weeks.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Preference for candidates with prior internship or work experience in EHS or chemical manufacturing.
- Preference for candidates who can convey ideas clearly and work well in a small team.

- Locations: Elkhorn, Nebraska; Rahway, New Jersey; or West Point, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full time, paid internship.
