About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within our Statesville Breeders department. You will work alongside mentors to complete specific tasks and projects, gaining exposure to our daily operations and work environment.
What you'll do#
- Complete tasks assigned by your department mentor.
- Attend a semi-monthly seminar series.
- Develop and present a project at the end of the summer.
- Participate in internship evaluations at the five-week and ten-week marks.
- Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedure regulations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program at an accredited college or university.
- A focus in Agriculture, Biology, or Business Administration.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a company motor vehicle record check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

- This position is based in Statesville, North Carolina.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
