About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position for Summer 2027. You will work as part of our Prelaunch program, a three-month development journey designed to build your technical skills and introduce you to the mindset of a consultant. You will work alongside experienced engineering consultants, project managers, and subject matter experts on meaningful projects.
What you'll do#
- Design engineering solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and monitoring.
- Join project and client meetings.
- Refine technical designs and documentation.
- Analyze reports and specifications.
What you'll need#
- Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in the field through previous internships, volunteering, or organization memberships.
- Creative thinking skills and a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Proficient communication and presentation skills.
- A resilient, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You must be authorized to work for any employer in the US, as we do not provide sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You must be able to commute to the office, with a minimum of three days per week spent on-site to support our collaborative culture.
- Eligibility: This role is open to students pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
