About the role#
As a Barley Operations Intern, you will support strategic projects aimed at improving the safety, reliability, and performance of the Molson Coors Barley Elevator Network. You will work alongside operations teams to evaluate facility assessments and develop action plans that support risk reduction and operational excellence across the network.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic projects focused on operational and safety improvements across the barley program network.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve process and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement improvement plans.
- Assist in evaluating facility assessments and translating findings into actionable solutions.
- Create tools and reports to support decision making and project execution.
- Gain exposure to grain handling operations, industrial safety, engineering, and project life cycles.
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance operational excellence and long-term business performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in operations, engineering, safety, continuous improvement, or project management.
- Demonstrated leadership through coursework, extracurricular activities, or work experience.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to meaningful business projects.
