About the role#
As an Enterprise Architecture Intern at MKS, you will work within the Corporate Information Technology department. You will partner with the Enterprise Architecture team to align technology solutions with business goals. You will report to the Senior Principal Enterprise Architecture and gain experience in how organizations balance agility with long-term sustainability.
What you'll do#
- Document current-state architecture, including applications, systems, data flows, and integrations.
- Maintain architecture artifacts, technology inventories, and business capability models.
- Create and update architecture diagrams, process flows, and business capability maps using tools like Visio.
- Support the maintenance of enterprise architecture repositories and platforms.
- Research emerging technologies and AI capabilities to provide recommendations to the team.
- Prepare materials for architecture governance reviews and document key decisions.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, cybersecurity staff, and project teams to identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce redundancy.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Location & details#
- Location: Andover, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Compensation: The hourly pay range is $22.00 to $29.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Interns working at least 20 hours per week receive 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued biweekly.
