About the role#
As a Quality Engineer Intern at MKS, you will work with Engineering, Operations, and Inspection teams. You will report to the Sr. Quality Manager and focus on improving both products and manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Develop calibration processes and documentation, including migrating records to a new database.
- Write and document inspection methods and procedures.
- Audit manufacturing and quality system processes.
- Support new product releases by engaging with various internal groups.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with a preference for technical writing experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment.
- Familiarity with reading mechanical drawings and GD&T terminology.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes like machining, metal fabrication, welding, or assembly.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in a standing or sitting position for half of the workday.
Location & details#
- Location: Broomfield, Colorado.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days for those working at least 20 hours per week.
