About the role#
Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories is looking for interns to join our research team. You will focus on efficient and sustainable AI. What you'll do#
- Conduct research that leads to publications in premier AI conferences.
- Create next-generation machine learning techniques for real-time and edge AI.
- Work on energy-efficient and hardware-friendly AI systems.
- Explore generative and multi-modal foundation models under resource constraints.
What you'll need#
- Advanced research experience in generative models, efficient architectures, or foundation models.
- A strong understanding of current machine learning and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
- Familiarity with other deep learning frameworks.
- A proven research record and motivation to publish in leading conferences.
Location & details#
- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Duration: Approximately 3 months with a flexible start date.
- Compensation: 6,000 to 8,000 dollars per month.
- Benefits: Includes a relocation stipend, covered travel expenses, and a monthly transit pass. Health insurance is available after a 90-day waiting period.
