About the role#
The Minot Hot Tots and Minot Honeybees are looking for a Videography and Digital Media Intern for the Summer 2027 season. This position is a full-time, paid internship based in Minot, North Dakota. You will work on-site, with some hybrid or remote flexibility. You will report to the Marketing and Media Manager and gain hands-on experience in sports production and digital marketing.
What you'll do#
- Film and produce video content including game highlights, promotional videos, player features, and social media clips.
- Capture game-day footage of on-field action, fan experiences, and stadium entertainment.
- Edit both short-form and long-form video content for social media, team websites, and videoboard displays.
- Operate cameras during home game broadcasts and help troubleshoot production issues.
- Design creative materials for sponsorship, marketing, ticket sales, and events, including print collateral like flyers and posters.
- Create and execute video board graphics and motion graphics for home games.
- Assist with social media content creation across multiple platforms.
- Organize and maintain video footage and project files.
- Support fan experience and live entertainment during all home games.
- Attend weekly marketing meetings to contribute ideas and plan campaigns.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, Sport Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere, InDesign, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
- Ability to work all home games and team events, which may include shifts exceeding 14 hours.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A self-motivated, team-oriented, and positive attitude.
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs.

- This is a paid internship with a monthly stipend.
- Housing is available upon request, with the intern responsible for utilities.
- College credit may be earned for this position.
