About the role#
As the Player Operations and Clubhouse Manager Intern, you will support the daily operations of the Minot Hot Tots and the Minot Honeybees. This role acts as the focal point for the clubhouse, ensuring players, coaches, and umpires have a functional and well-maintained environment. You will work closely with the operations department to manage equipment, team facilities, and game-day logistics throughout the summer season.
What you'll do#
- Manage inventory for all team equipment and uniforms, including distribution and record-keeping.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clubhouse, locker rooms, dugouts, laundry facilities, and batting cages.
- Coordinate laundry services for both home and visiting teams.
- Serve as the primary liaison for umpires, handling their arrival, meal vouchers, and post-game needs.
- Assist with ballpark and Family Fun Zone set-up and tear-down for home games and team events.
- Oversee the distribution and cleanup of post-game meals for players and officials.
- Distribute marketing materials throughout the community.
- Perform as the team mascot at least once during the season.
- Support general stadium cleanliness and operational tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant field such as Sport Management, Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or Marketing.
- Ability to work all home games and team events, including weekends and holidays.
- Capacity to work extended shifts, sometimes reaching 14 hours.
- Physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
- Strong verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to tasks.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.

- This role is based in Minot, North Dakota.
- The internship runs from May 10, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- This is a paid, on-site, full-time position.
- Housing is available upon request, with the intern responsible for utility costs.
