About the role#
The Minot Hot Tots are looking for a Photography & Digital Media intern for the Summer 2027 season. This role supports our marketing and media team by managing visual content, broadcast operations, and creative design projects. You will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing office hours with game day responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Capture photographs during home games, community events, and sponsor activations.
- Edit and organize digital photo libraries to ensure assets are easy to find.
- Design creative materials, including video board graphics, motion graphics, and print collateral.
- Assist with social media content creation and website updates.
- Help manage the game day broadcast, including troubleshooting and preparing in-game graphics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on theme nights, game scripts, and on-field promotions.
- Support the distribution of marketing materials throughout the stadium and community.
- Attend weekly and bi-weekly marketing meetings to contribute ideas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere, InDesign, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
- Ability to work all home games and team events, with shifts sometimes exceeding 14 hours.
- Capacity to lift 30 to 50 lbs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A self-motivated, team-oriented attitude.

- Location: Minot, North Dakota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 10 to August 13).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: Paid position with a $500 monthly stipend.
- Housing: Available upon request (intern responsible for utilities).
- Academic Credit: College credit may be earned.
