About the role#
This internship supports the Minneapolis Health and Life practice by working on projects related to health insurance, long-term care insurance, and predictive modeling. You will work full-time for approximately 3 months during the summer of 2027. This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime.
What you'll do#
- Use spreadsheets and databases to clean, synthesize, and analyze data.
- Communicate project results to peers and project leaders.
- Review the work of your peers.
- Prepare and document project files.
- Assist with research and business development projects.
- Gain experience working with health care data using various software applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or related degree program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Graduation within 12 months after the internship concludes.
- Passed at least one actuarial exam.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- This position is based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
- Employees may work remotely or in the office on a hybrid basis.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
