    About the role#

    This internship supports the Minneapolis Health and Life practice by working on projects related to health insurance, long-term care insurance, and predictive modeling. You will work full-time for approximately 3 months during the summer of 2027. This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime.

    What you'll do#

    • Use spreadsheets and databases to clean, synthesize, and analyze data.
    • Communicate project results to peers and project leaders.
    • Review the work of your peers.
    • Prepare and document project files.
    • Assist with research and business development projects.
    • Gain experience working with health care data using various software applications.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or related degree program.
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Graduation within 12 months after the internship concludes.
    • Passed at least one actuarial exam.
    • Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
    • Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

    • This position is based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
    • Employees may work remotely or in the office on a hybrid basis.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship.
