About the role#
We are seeking a Design Intern to join the IP Design team within our Data Center Solutions business unit. You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop next generation storage controller SOC products. This role offers hands-on experience with hardware IP development and the creation of AI tools to improve design productivity.
What you'll do#
- Write and maintain RTL for digital logic blocks using industry-standard hardware description languages.
- Analyze simulation, synthesis, and timing results to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with design and verification engineers.
- Contribute to the development of automated design flows and scripts.
- Help design, implement, and integrate AI-based tools and workflows.
- Research and evaluate new AI technologies and methodologies for ASIC and IP design.
- Participate in team meetings and technical reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical or Computer Engineering degree program at the Senior level or pursuing post-graduate studies.
- Familiarity with Verilog and System Verilog.
- Coursework in digital design and computer architecture.
- Programming and scripting skills in languages such as TCL, Python, and Perl.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

- Modality: On-site.
- Availability: Part-time, up to 25 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
