About the role#
The Clinical Crisis Intern will work at the Solutions Center, a 24/7 crisis facility. This role involves providing direct mental health clinical assessments and treatment to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Interns work within a clinical team to assist individuals in achieving recovery and stabilization.
What you'll do#
- Provide diagnostic mental health assessments and facilitate individual, couple, or group psychotherapy.
- Develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and conduct follow-ups as clinically indicated.
- Facilitate individual growth and development with an emphasis on strengths, culture, resiliency, and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support those served.
- Coordinate services for individuals with supplemental needs in psychiatric, case management, and medical domains.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with organizational standards.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervisory sessions.
- Maintain a trauma-informed environment of wellbeing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the second year of an MSW program.
- Completion of a first internship and a diagnosis course.
- Professional experience in the mental health field.

- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Commitment: 16 to 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
