About the role#
The Medical College of Wisconsin is hiring a Student Worker to join our team. This is a part-time, paid position that allows for remote work within Wisconsin. We accept applications on a rolling basis and welcome students from majors including Biology, Psychology, Health Administration, and Communications.
What you'll do#
You will assist with routine administrative tasks and participate in research operations. Your daily work includes:
- Performing data entry across various software systems.
- Assisting with filing, copying, and sorting documents.
- Conducting basic research experiments.
- Supporting general lab maintenance.
- Collaborating with team members during meetings and seminars.
- Completing administrative projects as assigned by staff.
What you'll need#
We do not require previous experience for this role. You must be currently enrolled in college and possess the following:
- Basic knowledge of research practices.
- Familiarity with computers and clerical procedures.
- An understanding of customer service standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Location & details#
This role is fully remote for residents of Wisconsin. You will work in an environment that may occasionally require lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking. You must have the ability to detect and translate speech or other forms of communication.
