About the role#
We are looking for an Account Management Intern to join our oncology business for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with our remote sales team to build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and practice teams. This position requires a mix of remote work and regular travel to visit customers within your assigned territory.
What you'll do#
- Manage a book of 25-40 existing oncology customers.
- Support customer-facing projects and help build relationships with healthcare providers.
- Gather data and insights to identify opportunities that improve the customer experience.
- Prepare materials and coordinate logistics for customer meetings and reviews.
- Research customer needs to help develop presentations, reports, and business recommendations.
- Partner with teams across customer success, clinical services, finance, and operations.
- Track action items and support follow-up on customer requests.
- Help promote products, services, and resources to support customer goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a healthcare-related field.
- Business acumen and the ability to use analytics to identify trends.
- Strong interpersonal and resource management skills.
- Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Ability to travel extensively overnight to visit customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based in LaVergne, Tennessee, with a mix of remote work and on-site travel.
- Travel requirement is approximately 30 percent of the time.
- Sponsorship is not available for this position.
