About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship based in Hunt Valley, Maryland. You will work on-site, 40 hours per week, from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. This position offers hands-on experience within the supply chain function of a global food and beverage manufacturer. You will work alongside industry professionals on real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production teams, suppliers, and customer service, to support operational challenges.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to generate reports and dashboards.
- Document engineering processes and implement necessary changes.
- Contribute to projects supporting TPM and lean leadership guidance.
- Work with operations, reliability, and plant leadership to meet project milestones.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and monitor performance metrics to evaluate improvements.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Availability to work full-time during the 10-week summer period.
