About the role#
This is a full-time, 10-week summer internship based in Hunt Valley, Maryland. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. This role offers hands-on experience within the supply chain function of a global food and beverage manufacturing company.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across production, logistics, and distribution to support operational challenges.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Create reports and dashboards to assist in decision-making.
- Document engineering processes and implement necessary changes.
- Contribute to projects aligned with TPM and lean leadership guidance.
- Work with operations, engineering, and plant leadership to meet project milestones.
- Propose and implement process improvement initiatives while monitoring performance metrics.
- Participate in cross-functional projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to work.
- Full-time availability during the summer internship period.
Location & details#
- Location: Hunt Valley, Maryland.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour.
