About the role#
This internship is based in the Central Engineering AMS-IP team. You will contribute to the development of SerDes PHY solutions and other Analog Mixed-Signal IPs that support Marvell products. This role involves working alongside firmware, design, application, and SoC teams to solve technical challenges.
What you'll do#
- Develop and verify new firmware modules for Marvell Serdes IP.
- Create module design specifications, firmware source code, and build scripts.
- Contribute to the development of CI/CD processes.
- Participate in debugging, bring-up, and production firmware development.
- Produce necessary module documentation.
What you'll need#
- You are a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate or a Master student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded firmware design, development, and debugging.
- Experience with CI/CD systems, such as Jenkins.
- Good technical communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with C/C++ in a bare-metal embedded environment, SERDES technology, PCIe host interfaces, or chip design simulation is helpful.
- Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and LLMs is considered a plus.

- Compensation: 32 to 43 CAD per hour.
