About the role#
This is a full-time internship position for the Summer 2027 term. You will join the Central Engineering AMS-IP team to work on design verification and evaluation of digital circuits within high-speed data communication ICs. This role involves working on SerDes and D2D IPs with data rates ranging from 10Gbps to 448Gbps.
What you'll do#
- Develop verification plans and set up test environments.
- Create, execute, and model testcases for block or chip level verification.
- Use and improve the UVM DV environment.
- Improve existing design methodology and flows.
- Collaborate with Analog, DSP, Digital Design, Firmware, and AE teams to deliver SerDes IP solutions.
- Provide support to product teams for both pre and post silicon phases.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Bachelor or Master student in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Approval to intern during the 2027 calendar year.
- Understanding of ASIC verification flows and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM.
- Experience with UNIX Shell scripting (Csh, Bash), Perl, and Python.
- Knowledge of VIPs, formal verification, PCIe, and UCIe protocols.
- Familiarity with low power design, MATLAB, C/C++ system simulation, and DSP hardware implementation.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
