About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Marki Microwave, you will work with engineers who design and manufacture high frequency RF products. This 10-week internship offers hands-on experience in bench test characterization, production test development, or assembly automation. Projects are defined based on your specific skills and academic level.
What you'll do#
- Provide hands-on support for assigned RF engineering projects.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project objectives.
- Manage priorities and communicate progress to your manager.
- Analyze and summarize data to investigate and resolve technical problems.
- Present your results to the engineering team at the end of the internship.
- Calibrate equipment including Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Power Sensors, and Signal Generators.
- Assess the performance of RF/Microwave components using S-Parameters and non-linear parameters.
- Participate in the testing of RF/Microwave products.
- Promote an ethics-based business culture.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8.
- Understanding of RF components like mixers, passives, amplifiers, and switches.
- Knowledge of RF/Microwave testing theory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to a hands-on approach.
- Experience with RF electronics manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or other Protected Individual due to export control regulations.
