About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the underground construction product line. You will work with our technical and commercial teams to gain exposure to field operations, laboratory testing, and sales support. This role is designed as a rotational experience that includes time in the office, the laboratory, the factory, and at project sites.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical assistance to customers through on-site visits and hands-on training.
- Deliver technical presentations and support product sales.
- Participate in field trials, product demonstrations, and competitive analysis.
- Assist with laboratory testing and the evaluation of materials.
- Collaborate with technical, commercial, and field teams on special projects.
- Help prepare technical reports and project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program in Civil, Mining, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
- Preference for students at the junior or senior level.
- Ability to travel as required by the role.
- Strong communication skills, initiative, and curiosity.
- A motivation to learn and an innovative mindset.
Location & details#
- Locations: Salt Lake City, Utah or West Chicago, Illinois.
- Modality: Remote and on-site work.
- Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks, May to August).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid internship with an hourly rate up to $25.00.
- Note: Housing stipends may be available in certain situations.
