About the role#
As a CAD Design Intern, you will work with the Concrete Restoration Systems commercial and technical teams. You will gain experience translating technical concepts and project information into accurate visual details. This role supports product recommendations, specifications, and various commercial projects.
What you'll do#
- Create and update CAD drawings, layouts, details, and technical illustrations.
- Support project submittals, specifications, presentations, and customer materials.
- Develop product application details for concrete repair and restoration systems.
- Maintain drawing libraries, templates, standards, and project files.
- Review plans and project information to support technical recommendations.
- Revise drawings based on project requirements and feedback from the technical team.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s or graduate degree in CAD Design, Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and technical information.
- Strong communication skills, initiative, and curiosity.
- Willingness to travel.
Location & details#
- Location: Deerfield Beach, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August, 12 weeks).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid internship with an hourly rate up to $23.00, with housing stipends considered in certain situations.
