About the role#
As a Sustainability Specialist Intern, you will join our Technical Services team in Deerfield Beach. You will support projects and initiatives that advance our sustainability goals. This role involves coordinating projects, researching industry trends, and developing communications to promote our sustainable products. You will gain hands-on experience that may lead to future roles in sustainability, project coordination, or corporate responsibility.
What you'll do#
- Support sustainability programs and promotional initiatives.
- Research industry trends, standards, and customer expectations.
- Gather and organize sustainability data, product information, and project updates.
- Assist with the creation of presentations, reports, and communications.
- Collaborate across technical, marketing, product, sales, and operations teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate projects and manage multiple priorities.
- An innovative mindset and motivation to learn.
- Willingness to travel.
Location & details#
- Location: Deerfield Beach, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August, 12 weeks).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid internship with an hourly rate up to $23.00.
- Housing stipends may be available in certain situations.
