About the role#
The Continuous Improvement Engineer Co-Op supports operational excellence by optimizing processes, layouts, and staffing to improve scalability, quality, and cost efficiency. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers to contribute to real-world projects in operations engineering. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Provide general support to the optimization of process flows, line layouts, staffing, and workstation design.
- Participate in driving process improvements on new and existing products.
- Support conducting cost/benefit analysis for changes to processes and equipment.
- Review and support the Medevio CAPTURE program to evaluate and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Participate in operations and continuous improvement team meetings and activities.
- Respond to changing priorities in a timely manner.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program for Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to work full-time on-site for the duration of the co-op.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
- Driven to learn about the real-world application of academic engineering concepts.

- Location: White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027 and Fall 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time co-op position.
