About the role#
As a Software Engineering Co-op, you will join our team for an 8-month term starting January 5, 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by building applications and systems that support our business and customers. You will work alongside technical leaders to develop high-quality software while learning how we manage the full software development lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to engineering teams focused on building scalable and reliable applications.
- Support the development, testing, and debugging of software.
- Assist with feature development and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to create user-focused solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
- Exposure to software frameworks, libraries, or development tools.
- An understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, or application architecture.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario.
- Term: January 5, 2027, to August 19, 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You will be in the office Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $52,650 to $70,200 CAD annually, pro-rated based on the length of the work term.
