About the role#
SageSure is hiring a Software Product Management Intern for our 10-week Rising Pioneer Program. This role provides hands-on experience within our Software Product Management team. You will work on projects, receive mentorship, and network with our employees and leadership. We often consider interns for future roles within the company after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Support Software Product Managers in gathering and organizing business and user requirements.
- Develop product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with stakeholders across Software Engineering, Design, and Operations.
- Conduct product discovery activities, including user research, competitive research, and data analysis.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Track product initiatives, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Analyze product usage and customer feedback to identify trends.
- Test new features and functionality.
- Create presentations to communicate product updates and recommendations.
- Provide research support on ad-hoc projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant degree program such as Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Economics with an anticipated graduation date in 2028.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfort working with data to identify trends and support decisions.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Preferred: A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Preferred: Prior internship or project experience, familiarity with Agile or Scrum, and experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Excel, or PowerPoint.

- Locations: Chicago, IL; Jersey City, NJ; or Mountain View, CA.
