About the role#
This Student Associate position joins our creative team to support visual content for our sports properties. You will work alongside motion designers, marketing designers, writers, and editors to produce graphics for the Knicks, Rangers, and Westchester Knicks.
What you'll do#
- Design motion graphics for in-arena event presentations.
- Update game day assets and create complementary graphics for video content.
- Version out player and alumni headshots.
- Create motion graphics for various signage sizes and specifications.
- Develop content for social and digital platforms.
- Assist with general graphic design needs as they arise.
- Provide support to guests, partners, and team members while on-site.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status as a junior or above.
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with After Effects plugins.
- Knowledge of Cinema 4D is a plus.
- A strong eye for design and type layout.
- A self-motivated mindset and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
Location & details#
- This role is located in New York City, New York.
- You must be available to work on-site for 21 to 35 hours per week, spanning 3 to 5 business days.
- This is a paid position for the Fall 2026 term.
