About the role#
As a Data Analyst Intern on the Lyft Urban Solutions team, you will support the future of bikeshare operations. You will work alongside Operations, Science, and Finance teams to drive data-driven strategies. Your analytical work will directly influence fleet management, pricing, and rider accessibility.
What you'll do#
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to manage and update key business logic.
- Build frameworks and scalable processes to streamline reporting and drive decision-making.
- Define metrics to measure the success of strategic initiatives and monitor system health.
- Create dashboards to track performance over time.
- Deliver data to city partners through close collaboration with internal teams.
- Monitor KPI performance and present your findings to senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in SQL and quantitative analysis.
- Ability to translate unstructured business problems into clear requirements.
- Experience deep diving into large datasets to draw actionable conclusions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and experience creating processes that reduce human error.

- This internship is based in New York, New York.
- The term is Summer 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
- Work modality is hybrid, with an expectation to be in the office three days per week.
