About the role#
LV Collective is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern for the Fall 2026 term to support marketing and leasing efforts for Rambler Blacksburg, a student housing development near Virginia Tech. This role offers hands-on experience with inbound marketing, content strategy, and social media campaigns. The position requires a commitment of 15 to 25 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Create fresh content for the property learning center and website to drive traffic through search, social, and email channels.
- Write and edit articles focused on the Virginia Tech lifestyle and off-campus living.
- Produce monthly email newsletters, covering copywriting, design, and distribution.
- Assist with website updates, including blog posts and landing pages.
- Develop resources for the Learning Center such as eBooks and fact sheets.
- Appear on camera to answer student questions regarding living near Virginia Tech.
- Assist in planning and directing photo and video shoots for social media and marketing materials.
- Help identify and recruit brand ambassadors for the project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Virginia Tech in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.
- Must reside in Blacksburg, Virginia.
- Strong command of social media platforms, specifically Instagram and TikTok.
- Excellent oral and written business communication skills.
- Access to a reliable computer and WiFi, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience managing social media, email campaigns, or websites for organizations or businesses is preferred.
- Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position based in Blacksburg, Virginia.
- You will be required to attend occasional events, photo shoots, and meetings on or near the Virginia Tech campus.
- A Canva Pro or Adobe Creative Suite license will be provided for your use.
