About the role#
This is a paid, full-time marketing internship based at International Market Place in Honolulu. You will work on-site to support the property team with daily operations, event coordination, and tenant relations. This role requires availability during standard business hours Monday through Friday, with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work as needed.
What you'll do#
- Maintain contact with mall personnel.
- Coordinate efforts and participation during property promotions.
- Screen questions and requests from tenants, vendors, and the public.
- Resolve problems and inquiries as qualified.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events.
- Demonstrate effective customer service and conflict resolution skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
- Strong working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and FourSquare.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
