Operations Student Leads provide leadership, training, and support for the Service Desk and Maintenance teams. This role acts as a primary liaison between Operations leadership and student workers, ensuring effective communication and coordination of work assignments. This is a paid, on-site position for Summer 2026, ideal for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration or Operations Management.
What you'll do#
- Act as a lead for the Service Desk and Maintenance teams, providing daily staff triage and support.
- Use scheduling software to manage monthly schedules for both Operations teams.
- Coordinate with Service Desk staff regarding scheduling needs, timelines, and expectations while managing weekly hour limits.
- Serve as the first point of contact for students unable to fulfill their scheduled shifts.
- Train student workers on departmental processes, policies, and procedures.
- Provide general office support and update Operations documentation as needed.

- A proactive, self-starting mindset with the willingness to ask for help when needed.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and protect the privacy of confidential information.

- This position requires a commitment to a regular work schedule, including some evening and weekend hours.
