About the role#
As a Residential Community Life Fellow, you will work with the Student Affairs team to foster community life at Luther Seminary. This role balances event coordination with administrative support, requiring a mix of creative planning and office management skills. You will assist in executing campus-wide events and managing student-focused programs, including the Seminary Grocery Assistance Program.
What you'll do#
- Develop, plan, and implement community events, including both in-person and virtual gatherings.
- Provide leadership for special campus events such as Orientation and Commencement in partnership with other offices and student groups.
- Provide in-person administrative support for the Student Affairs office, including managing email communication and special projects.
- Manage the Seminary Grocery Assistance Program, which includes placing and packing orders, coordinating food shelf pickups, and tracking program usage.
- Attend weekly team meetings and ensure all work adheres to FERPA guidelines and confidentiality standards.
- Assist with various office tasks as assigned by Student Affairs staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in good standing at Luther Seminary.
- Demonstrated experience in event management and organizational planning.
- Previous experience working in customer service environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including intercultural competence.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and comfort using Google Drive.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple deadlines, and problem-solve effectively.
- Availability to participate in events outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: This is a full-time position with 6-8 hours per week dedicated to in-person administrative support.
