About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work on the design, review, fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of robotic systems. You will work alongside full-time engineers on real projects and collaborate at every stage of autonomous robotic development.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the design and review of robotic systems.
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of hardware.
- Perform maintenance on existing robotic systems.
- Collaborate with team members across different disciplines.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work methodically.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Passion for space exploration.
- Experience with schematic capture and layout design.
- Experience with soldering.
- Experience using test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
Location & details#
- Location: Golden, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 to August 20, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Compensation: $24.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Full-time paid internship.
