About the role#
As a Ground Software Engineering Intern, you will work alongside full-time engineers on projects that contribute to Lunar Outpost products. This role involves participating in the development of autonomous robotics and provides an end-to-end view of our engineering processes.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to real projects that provide value to our products.
- Collaborate with team members across different disciplines.
- Participate in the development cycle for autonomous robotic systems.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with NodeJS, React, and Python.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with unit testing, test-driven development, and mocking frameworks.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
- Previous experience working on mission control software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work methodically and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for space exploration.
Location & details#
- Location: Golden, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7 to August 20).
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $24.00 per hour.
