About the role#
The Internal Audit intern will join the Information Technology team for a 10-week summer program. This role is part of the Foundational Analyst Rotational (FAR) Program, though it is not a rotational position. You will work directly with the IT Audit team to gain exposure to the systems, databases, and applications that support our business operations. The internship includes networking, mentorship, and opportunities to interact with company leaders.
What you'll do#
- Participate in process walkthroughs and perform audit testing in line with professional standards.
- Use analytics tools like Alteryx and Tableau to perform testing and build continuous auditing and monitoring programs.
- Manage various assignments and projects to practice project management skills.
- Expand your technical knowledge through online training and department meetings.
- Engage with company leaders to explore career paths and opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior in a bachelor’s degree program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0, with 3.3 or higher preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration.
- Ability to be local to the Fort Mill or Charlotte office for the duration of the program.
- Successful completion of a background screening.
- We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
Preferred skills include:
- Exposure to IT General Controls (ITGCs).
- Leadership experience via student organizations, projects, or previous internships.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office 365.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

- Locations: Fort Mill, South Carolina or Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, from June 1, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- Compensation: $25 per hour.
