About the role#
This is a 10-week paid summer internship within the Internal Audit Data Analytics team. You will support the department through project work, networking, and learning sessions. This role is based in our offices and requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week from June 1, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Gain insight into the operations of a publicly traded company, including exposure to internal systems and databases.
- Participate in process walkthroughs and perform audit testing according to professional standards.
- Use analytics tools like Alteryx and Tableau to perform testing and build monitoring programs.
- Manage various assignments to practice project management skills.
- Expand your technical and professional knowledge through training and online courses.
- Interact with company leaders to learn about career paths at LPL Financial.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior in a bachelor's degree program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Basic knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office 365 platforms.
- Leadership experience gained through student organizations, previous internships, or projects.
- Majors in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting are preferred.

- This position is located in Fort Mill, South Carolina, or Charlotte, North Carolina.
- This is an on-site, full-time role.
