About the role#
We are looking for an Operations Specialist Intern to support Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities within a semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role provides hands-on experience in facility operations, maintenance planning, performance reporting, and operational coordination. You will work alongside the Regional O&M Manager, Site Managers, engineers, and technicians to track priorities and analyze performance data.
What you'll do#
- Support the Regional O&M Manager with day-to-day O&M coordination.
- Track regional priorities, deliverables, and operational commitments.
- Collect and consolidate site-level performance data, including PM compliance, equipment availability, and maintenance backlogs.
- Assist with developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, Excel trackers, and operational scorecards.
- Review Maximo/CMMS data for accuracy, including asset hierarchy and maintenance history.
- Help manage regional schedules for major maintenance, shutdowns, and operational milestones.
- Analyze data to identify recurring failures, inefficiencies, or opportunities for cost savings.
- Support the development and revision of SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and job plans.
- Participate in site walks, operational reviews, and maintenance planning meetings.
What you'll need#
- A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting facilities or project coordination on construction projects.
- A strong interest in semiconductor manufacturing, facilities operations, maintenance, or mission-critical environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Maximo is strongly preferred.
- A High School Diploma is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Engineering is advantageous, though equivalent field experience may be considered.
