About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will support our procurement operations by managing documentation, maintaining supplier records, and learning the systems used by our department. This position provides hands-on experience in the procurement process within an engineering services environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform data entry for established procedures and systems.
- Implement firm and department policies.
- Help maintain our list of suppliers.
- Prepare, issue, and receive requests for quotations.
- Assist in the evaluation of vendor quotations.
- Review and process purchasing documents.
- Prepare and maintain records of purchase orders.
- Process approvals for supplier invoices.
- Learn the end-to-end procurement process.
- Develop proficiency in procurement department software.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year degree program in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A preference for candidates pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain or Procurement.
- Ability to complete pre-employment requirements including a criminal and civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
