How you’ll contribute You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. What you will do
- Works collaboratively with the patient care team.
- Performs direct patient care under the direction, delegation and supervision of a registered nurse.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to supervising RN.
- Maintains positive professional relationship with patient/ families, coworkers, and health care team.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patients
Qualifications and requirements
- Applicants should be enrolled in the nursing program at their selected university/college
- BLS required OR obtained within 2 weeks of start.
